Ben Platt has officially confirmed that he will return to the role that got him a Tony and shot him into stardom. Dear Evan Hansen won 7 Tony Awards including Best Musical in 2017. The film, by Universal Studios, is also eyeing Booksmart's Kaitlyn Dever for the role of Zoe Murphy.
