The man behind Indiana Jones just proved that snakes might be the least of his worries.
Legendary action star, Harrison Ford was injured on Wednesday during rehearsal for Indiana Jones 5.
In a press release, Disney stated:
"In the course of rehearsing for a fight scene, Harrison Ford sustained an injury involving his shoulder. Production will continue while the appropriate course of treatment is evaluated, and the filming schedule will be reconfigured as needed in the coming weeks."
Ford is no stranger to getting injured on set; Back in 2014, while portraying his iconic character Han Solo in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Ford broke his leg in a freak accident involving the Millennium Falcon. He underwent surgery and rehab and was out of production for eight weeks. This time around, there was no mention of how serious Ford's injury was or how long he would be absent.
The fifth and final installment of the Indiana Jones franchise was announced in December 2020 and it is set to release in July 2022. John Williams will return as composer and Ford's co-stars include Mads Mikkelsen and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The first four films in the Indiana Jones franchise are available to stream on Paramount Plus.
