At just 23, Zendaya has accomplished much in her career. From Disney to the big screen, and now earning her first Emmy nomination, the singer/actress/activist can do it all. Take a look back at what roles brought Zendaya to this amazing achievement.


Zendaya eared her first Emmy nomination for her role as misunderstood drug-addict Rue on HBO'sEuphoria, whose aesthetics and storylines took the television world by storm.

The official Twitter account for the show congratulated their main actor on the incredible feat.

Zendaya also took to Twitter to show her gratitude for the nomination. Sharing a photo from the Euphoria set, Zendaya thanked everyone involved in the show:

"I'm honestly speechless, my heart is just overflowing with love and gratitude. I'm so incredibly honored to work beside the talented people that I get to call family. I am a small piece of a big beautiful puzzle and I'm so proud of all of you. Thank you to everyone out there—"

If one new project wasn't enough, Zendaya is also set to star in the 2020 adaptation of the 1965 science fiction novel, Dune, starring Timothee Chalamet and Oscar Issac, set to premiere in December of 2020.
