'Spider-Man: Far From Home' Star Tom Holland on Peter Parker's Life After 'The Blip'

We hear from 'Spider-Man: Far From Home' stars Tom Holland and Samuel L. Jackson to get an inside look at the newest addition to the MCU!

Marvel fans are swinging over to theaters to see Spider-Man: Far From Home. We hear from the star-studded cast to get an inside look at the new movie!

The latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe picks up where Endgame left off: everyone who disappeared in “the Snap” is back. Some of our favorite heroes are gone for good, but Peter Parker is still the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

“It’s a few months after the events of Endgame, and I think everyone is still in that denial phase of the implication and the ramifications of what’s happened,” Tom Holland says.

While traveling abroad alongside friends Ned (Jacob Batalon) and MJ (Zendaya), Peter's trip is interrupted by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Quentin Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal), also known as Mysterio. They're facing a threat that requires an Avenger's attention, but Peter just wants a normal vacation.

“He wants to escape the responsibility of being Spider-Man but, unfortunately, the responsibility of being a friendly neighborhood superhero is not one you can run away from," Tom explains.

Samuel L. Jackson praised Tom Holland for his portrayal of such an iconic character, saying he brings Spider-Man to life in a way that resonates with viewers.

“You can feel his angst when there’s angst, and you can feel his enthusiasm when he’s excited about doing something, and all of that stuff translates to an audience really well," Samuel says.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is the highly-anticipated sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming. The movie premiered July 2nd, and star Tom Holland promises “there’s never a dull moment." You don't want to miss it in theaters!
