Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige kicked off Phase 4 of the MCU with a bang at San Diego Comic-Con.
In addition to six new movies, Marvel Studios will release FIVE original television shows exclusively on Disney+ in the next two years.
Each series will feature characters we already know and love while introducing new faces to the MCU. Also, these series will be intertwined with upcoming films.
“It's an embarrassment of riches, all of it extremely thought out by the team Marvel Studios, to do it in ways that I hope will satisfy fans who are anticipating it, but in a way they are absolutely not expecting it,” Feige said.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will get the ball rolling in Fall 2020. The series will feature Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan). Plus, Zemo (Daniel Bruhl), the villain from Captain America: Civil War, will return. Fans are just as excited to see Falcon in action with his new shield as they are for Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan to reunite for another press tour.

Wandavision, coming in spring 2021, will feature Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, and Teyonah Parris. Despite keeping almost every detail about the series under wraps for now, Feige revealed that it will directly set up the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the sequel to the 2016 film.
"Wandavision will be unlike anything we've done before,” Feige said.

Marvel's Loki series will finally reveal what happened when the God of Mischief disappeared with the Tesseract in 2012. However, don’t expect to see the same Loki you remember from Thor: Ragnarok. “You guys saw [2012] Avengers, right? So, he’s still that guy,” star Tom Hiddleston said. The series will be available in spring 2021.
"It is one of the most exciting creative opportunities I've ever come across," Hiddleston said. "A new world. New challenges. And I cannot wait to get started.”

What If…? is poised to be the most unique of the upcoming series. The first animated MCU show, coming in Summer 2021, will explore hypothetical scenarios and alternate realities featuring well-known characters. Jeffrey Wright will voice The Watcher, a character he says is “watching over the multiverse.” Stars reprising their roles for the series include Michael B. Jordan as Killmonger, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, and Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter.

The final series to join the MCU on the small screen is Hawkeye, which will be released in Fall 2021. Jeremy Renner returns as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, and the show will show him training Kate Bishop to follow in his footsteps. It will also delve deeper into his time as Ronin.
“I get to teach someone else how to be a superhero without superpowers,” Renner said.
We're so excited to check out all of these shows in the next few years, and we can't wait to see how Phase 4 of the MCU turns out!
