Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson are coming together again for a new Quibi series appropriately titled Futha Mucka.
The two starred in the 2017 film Hitman's Bodyguard together and their banter and chemistry was undeniable, making them the perfect duo for a short-form Quibi comedy based on Jackson's infamous expletive.
The series follows their real selves as strange circumstances cause the two to rely on each other more than ever. The official synopsis reveals:
""Samuel L. Jackson and Ryan Reynolds love each other. More accurately, Ryan loves Sam. When asked for comment on his feelings for Ryan, Sam said 'tell them I couldn't be reached for comment.' When a minor mishap causes Sam to become Ryan's primary caregiver, s--- gets weird. Ryan is delighted to spend all of his time with Sam. Sam couldn't be reached for comment."
The Marvel actors will also reunite for a Hitman's Bodyguard sequel entitled The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard whose release was pushed until next year to the pandemic.
Luckily, we have Quibi to thank for content from these two whose arguments mirror exactly what we would expect from Deadpool and Nick Fury.
