Uli Latukefu as 20-year-old Dwayne Johnson

Uli Latukefu will star as the 20-year-old Johnson who was recruited to play football on a scholarship at the University of Miami. Johnson posted:

"Playing at THE U - these years were some of my most defining. The highs are incredible, but the lows were critical. 275lbs of upper body violence, attitude and clearly eating too much pizza."

Joseph Lee Anderson as Rocky Johnson

Joseph Lee Anderson will star as Rocky Johnson who was a charming and inspirational father.

Stacey Leilua as Ata Johnson

Stacey Leilua will star as Dwayne's mother Ata Johnson who is strong, positive and a cancer survivor.

Ana Tuisila as Lia Maivia

Rounding out the cast is Ana Tuisila who will star as Lia Maivia- a tough yet heartwarming grandmother. Mavia was also the first woman promoter for pro wrestling.

Nahnatchka Khao and Jeff Chiang co-wrote the pilot and are executive producers along with Johnson under his Seven Bucks Productions. Among the executive producers are Seven Bucks' Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, and Brian Gewirtz, as well as Jennifer Carreras of Khan's Fierce Baby Productions. Universal Television, where Khan is under an overall deal, will serve as the studio. Jeffrey Walker serves as producer, director and co-executive producer.
