Taylor Swift made a rare public appearance at the Tribeca Film Festival to showcase her 10-minute short film for her re-recorded single "All Too Well."

Swift sat down for a Q&A with director Mike Mills. Although the singer has recently released a slew of remastered tunes for her fans, her creativity doesn't seem to be limited to music. Shared in the conversation with the "C'mon C'mon" director, a possibility of another directorial project could be in the "Red" singer's future.

"It would be so fantastic to write and direct something, you know, a feature. I don't see it being bigger in terms of scale," Swift said. "I loved making a film that was so intimate and with a crew that was relatively small and just a really solid crew of people that I trusted."

In November 2021, Swift released the music video for fans on Youtube. Starring "Stranger Things" star Sadie Sink and "Maze Runner's" Dylan O'Brien, the video has amassed 67 million views. Despite the massive success, the 32-year-old was unsure about calling the shots on a set, all because "she didn't go to school for that."

Towards the end of the conversation, Sink and O'Brien made a surprise appearance on stage. They revealed that the big fight in the short film was mainly improvised, with some of what was caught on camera being cut.

Sink opened up about what it was like working with Swift, saying,

"There was just so much freedom and that's how we got such real moments, we didn't have to hold anything back."

O'Brien celebrated the singer's directing abilities, saying:

"You can be talented and you can have great taste, of which all these things she possesses, but the onset ability to operate, the freedom just to create that environment. That is special."
