Posted in a video over social media, showrunner Simon Barry broke the news to the main cast- Alba Baptista, Toya Turner, Lorena Andrea, Kristina Tonteri-Young and Olivia Delcan- that the series has been renewed for a second season.
The series has been a hit since it launched back in July, following Ava, played by Baptista, as she wakes up and finds herself in a morgue with a new outlook on life and a divine artifact implanted in her back. She learns she is now part of an ancient powerful force that represents heaven and hell, each wanting to find and control her. The series was inspired by the manga novels by Ben Dunn's, "Warrior Nun Areala".
Season 2 won't be out yet but be sure to check out season 1 available on Netflix.
