The series starring Kaley Cuoco has been cleared for take-off! The news announced on social media and in a press release.
The Announcement
The news comes to light as the finale was released on December 17. The series was based on the same name by New York Times bestselling author Chris Bohjalian.
The series tells the story of Cassie a flight attendant who's life changed one night after she woke up in bed next to a dead man in a hotel she didn't remember checking into. Cuoco not only stars in the series, but is also an executive producer who stated in the press release:
To say that I am elated would be an understatement! The positive response to our show has surpassed all of our expectations and I'm so proud of the entire team behind its success
She continued by stating:
I'm thrilled to continue my partnership with Team Berlanti, Steve Yockey, HBO Max and of course my beloved studio, Warner Bros. I have amazing partners in Suzanne McCormack and Mackenzie Shade at Yes, Norman Prods., where we are committed to delivering diverse and quality entertainment, including an exciting (and probably a little crazy) TFA season 2!!
Receiving praise from critics and audiences the series also stars Michiel Huisman, Rosie Perez, Zosia Mamet, Michelle Gomez, T.R. Knight, Colin Woodell, Merle Dandridge, Griffin Matthews and Nolan Gerard Funk. With the renewal of season two, we can only imagine what adventures Cassie will meet up with.
