The 2021 Golden Globes ceremony has been officially postponed due to concerns of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has postponed the event and will now be held on February 28, 2021. NBC plans to air the ceremony with scheduled hosts Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. In the coming weeks, HFPA will provide further information about eligibility, voting, and nominations. The Golden Globes are just one of the many award ceremonies, including the BAFTAs and the Film Independent Spirit Awards, to be postponed due to the pandemic. The Academy Awards were scheduled to be held on February 28, but have since been moved to April 25, 2021.
