(DEVELOPING STORY) Today marks an important day in American history as the Supreme Court of the United States declared it is unconstitutional to discriminate against LGBTQ+ employees in the workforce.
In a 6-3 decision for the case of Bostock v. Clayton County, Georgia, the SCOTUS ruled that the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which does not allow discrimination in the workplace based on sex, also includes sexual orientation.
