Ferris Bueller's Day Off | Reunited Apart with Josh Gad

Life comes at you fast. If you don't stop and watch a group of actors reunite over Zoom once in a while, you could miss it.

The cast of the beloved 1980's coming of age movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off reunited virtually to reminisce and re-enact their most iconic scenes as part of Josh Gad's Reunited Apart YouTube Series.

As the last installment of the Frozen star's Reunited Apart series, Josh Gad gathered the iconic cast of director John Hughes' legendary teen comedy. These include Matthew Broderick who plays the charismatic smart talker Ferris, Alan Ruck, the anxious best friend Cameron, and Mia Sara as Ferris' fringe covered girlfriend, Sloane.

Other cast members popped in including Jennifer Grey, Ben Stein, Lyman Ward, and Cindy Pickett. The stars reminisced on their favorite moments of filming the movie and re-enacting some of the most famous scenes, including Ferris's shower monologue, Cameron's baseball hollers, and Jeanie's run-in with bad boy Charlie Sheen.

Gad then challenged the cast to trivia questions posed by other famous friends including choreographer Kenny Ortega and Gad's pick for Ferris' son in an imagined sequel, Jake Gyllenhaal.

The episode ends with a video montage honoring the life and work of John Hughes, which Gad teased on his Twitter. Special guest stars reprise their famous lines from his most remarkable films including Pretty in Pink and The Breakfast Club.

Other casts reunited by Gad as part of his series include Ghostbusters and The Goonies. All six episodes can be found on his YouTube channel. This reunion in particular provides a burst of nostalgia when re-watching the original for the fiftieth time just isn't enough.
