Travis Barker is opening up about his recent hospitalization.

The Blink 182 drummer took to Instagram Story Saturday, updating fans on his struggle with "life threatening pancreatitis."

He shared that he went in for an endoscopy Monday "feeling great," but after he ate dinner, he "developed excruciating pain" and has been "hospitalized ever since."

Barker shared,

"During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube. This resulted in severe life threatening pancreatitis."

The drummer added,

"I am so very very grateful that with intensive treatment, I am currently much better."

Barker's wife, Kourtney Kardashian, shared her gratitude in a separate Instagram Story, writing,

"I am so grateful to God for healing my husband, for all of your prayers for him and for us, for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support. I am so touched and appreciative"

Barker was rushed to the hospital on June 28. It was later identified that the cause was pancreatitis. His daughter, Alabama Barker asked that fans "send your prayers."
