Tom Hanks, one of the first celebrities to contract the coronavirus, is heading back to the same place where he contracted it in the first place: Australia.

Originally in the "land down under" to film Baz Luhrmann's upcoming biopic Elvis, Hanks contracted the virus while playing the role of Colonel Tom, Elvis Presley's manager. Upon testing positive, production for the film shut down and Hanks spent a considerable amount of time quarantining and recovering in Australia, before ultimately returning to the United States for a short period of time. The star has seen returned to the county, where production on the film has resumed.

In a statement, Baz Luhrmann shared his excitement in being back on set:

"We're back to, as Elvis liked to say, 'taking care of business!' It is a real privilege in this unprecedented global moment that Tom Hanks has been able to return to Australia to join Austin Butler and all of our extraordinary cast and crew to commence production on Elvis...We are all excited to start working with Tom Hanks when he is out of quarantine in two weeks.

Elvis joins the growing list of movies returning to production. However, with recent news of Robert Pattinson coming down with COVID-19 and shutting down production of The Batman, we could see more abrupt halts, should more positive cases come in.
