It's the movie comic book fans have been waiting for!

The Suicide Squadfeatures a superstar cast including Viola Davis and Margot Robbie, who both return to play their roles as Amanda Waller and Harley Quinn.

Idris Elba, Pete Davidson, Joel Kinnaman and John Cena also make up the A list cast.

The new 2021 film brings a new approach from the original Suicide Squad, released in 2016.

Led by Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn, The Suicide Squad is not a sequel, but a new take on the villains tasked with an important suicide mission to help save the world.

British actress Mayling Ng joins the all-star cast as a new character, Mongal.

"[Mongal] has super-strength and super-speed. That morning when I was getting ready for the table read, I got a Facebook notification [that said] 'On this day, four years ago, you moved to America.' I was like... four years later, I'm sitting at a table read with that talent," Ng said.

While the new movie is streaming on HBO Max, Mayling also hopes everyone sees it on the big screen.

"You have to watch this coming at you. At one point, I was sitting there and I forgot to breathe and I actually got a little dizzy because I was just so in the moment. I was like... what's going to happen next?"

Joel Kinnaman reprises his role as Colonel Rick Flag, where he's taking control of the squad's efforts on their big mission.

Kinnaman teased audiences the new film last year on Advocate Channel. The film was able to finish production right before the pandemic.

"We got done just in time. They went into post-production right when the world shut down. So they had a perfect release window," Kinnaman said.
