The coronavirus pandemic has caused some of Hollywood's biggest movies to push their release dates back to later months. Now, two highly anticipated movies are now the latest victims of the pandemic.

Black Widow, the latest installment in the MCU, is pushing their release from November 6th, 2020 to May 7th, 2021. Initially slated to premiere on May 1st of this year, it looks like Marvel fans will have to wait a bit longer for the highly anticipated prequel. The move also caused a ripple affect for the company, now delaying Eternals to February 21st, 2021. 2020 will be the first year since 2009 where no MCU movie premieres.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, various studios have taken on different strategies when it comes to premiering films. Most notably, Tenet made its theatrical debut on September 3rd after setting an original premiere date for July 17th, 2020. No Time To Diealso joins Tenet as a 2020 movie, with a scheduled premiere date for November 20th, 2020.
