The French Dispatch isn't even in theaters yet but director Wes Anderson is already moving on to his next project. Today, it was announced that some of the biggest names in film are joining its cast.

Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Hope Davis (Captain America: Civil War, Succession), Jeffrey Wright (The Batman, The Hunger Games), and Liev Schreiber (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, X-Men Origins: Wolverine) are the latest additions to the project, all cast in unspecified roles. Davis is particularly interesting because she has not worked with Anderson in the past; Cranston and Schreiber both had voice acting roles in Anderson's 2018 stop-motion animated science-fiction comedy Isle of Dogs, while Wright appeared in the still-unreleased The French Dispatch.

Anderson, who is notorious for reusing the same actors in his films, has already added Adrien Brody, Scarlett Johansson, Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman, and Tilda Swinton to his new project. All have worked on past projects with the director — this will Murray's tenth collaboration with Anderson and Schwartzman's eighth. However, earlier in the year, Anderson also cast newcomers Tom Hanks, Margot Robbie, and Homeland star Rupert Friend, which has Anderson's fans (Fandersons, for short) excited about the zesty possibilities.

The as-of-yet untitled Wes Anderson film has been described as a romance about "a group of brainy teenagers", with Michael Cera and Jeff Goldblum being eyed for potential roles as well. No release date has been announced.
