Tyler Perry Studios' Instagram and Twitter page recently announced the food giveaway on November 19. The giveaway was set for November 22 with a couple of rules and regulations in order to help as many families as possible.
The flyer reads,
"Tyler Perry Studios will be providing groceries and gift cards to families in need. First Come, First Serve of 5000 Families while supplies last."
The giveaway had enough supplies for an estimated 5,000 families with no more than two families gifted per vehicle.
Perry was also sure to be cautious, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and had volunteers in protective gear, while asking families to wear masks and stay in their vehicle.
Perry is known for his wisdom in handling Covid-19 precautions and regulations, apparent in his Camp Quarantine endeavor to film season two of BET's Sistas.
