Joe Biden And Kamala Harris Named 'TIME' Person Of The Year

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris talk with TIME about entering office and uniting America.

2020 has been a turbulent year. From the death of Kobe Bryant to coronavirus, BLM protests, and the presidential election, all of us can now look back and see how far we've come. As 2020 draws to an end, TIME has announced their person of the year. This year, however, the cover includes two people.

President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris will grace the cover of TIME's Person of the Year. After an intense election cycle, Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump with 306 electoral votes, as of December 11th. Biden's victory comes after one of the more unpredictable years in recent memory, as his administration will look to face big issues head on including COVID-19, reuniting the nation, and more.

The Biden-Harris cover is historic in many ways, as Harris is the first VP to be selected as a person of the year.
