The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the winners of the 2022 Golden Globes via Twitter on Sunday night after a muted ceremony that took place behind closed doors on Sunday.

Last year's award ceremony faced some backlash due to its lack of diversity within the nominees, considering one of the most popular and critically acclaimed TV series of the year — I May Destroy You — was left out of every category.

NBC announced last May that it would not air the 2022 ceremony. Since then, the organization has overhauled its bylaws and admitted 21 new members.

"West Side Story" nabbed best musical or comedy, and "The Power of the Dog" won best drama. "West Side Story" star Rachel Zegler was named best actress in a musical or comedy. Her co-star Ariana DeBose took home the supporting actress prize. Jane Campion picked up the best director trophy for helming "The Power of the Dog," and Kodi Smit-McPhee won best supporting actor for the western.

Andrew Garfield took home best actor in a musical or comedy. Nicole Kidman won best actress in a drama, while Will Smith snagged best actor. Here's the complete winners' list:
