The kickoff weekend continues Sunday with The Santa Stakeout starring Paul Campbell and Tamera Mowry-Housley.

"These are two detectives, in this film, that team up to solve a case and inadvertently end up discovering feelings for each other. But it's not your traditional Christmas romance," Campbell said.

The Santa Stakeout is among the 41 new holiday movies that Hallmark Channel has on deck this season. Tamera Mowry-Housley opened up on this film's unique plot in a slew of new Christmas film premiering on Hallmark.

"What I love about this film is that it's different than the others that I've done. You really do see this arc. You don't see any kind of like romantic tension underneath in the beginning. They clearly dislike each other. Then, slowly but surely throughout the film, while they are solving a case, they are discovering each other at the same time," Mowry-Housley said.

Tamera is no stranger to Hallmark holiday movies. Over the years, the actress has starred in such titles as A Christmas Miracle and Christmas Comes Twice.

The Santa Stakeout airs on Hallmark Channel this Sunday, October 24th.
