Hallmark Channel is dropping more, brand new, holiday movies this weekend!
The new Hallmark Channel movie My Christmas Family Tree follows a woman, played by Aimee Teegarden, in search of her biological family.
Co-star Andrew Walker shared more about the movie's message.
"When I think of a family tree... it has to start with a good foundation of love and that's what this movie's all about," Walker said.
Walker is exciting about the original story at the heart of the film.
"It's really about the unconventionality, like what family is to people nowadays," Walker said.
The overall hope is that the movie provides some comfort while reflecting a different type of family drama.
"They're telling real life stories that people go through whether it be mental health, interracial marriage, same sex and what it all comes down to is just love," Walker said.
My Christmas Family Tree premieres Saturday, November 13th, on Hallmark Channel.
