The mom-to-be shares her emotional journey.

"Dancing With the Stars" dancing pro Sharna Burgess recently took to Instagram with an emotional video documenting her pregnancy journey alongside boyfriend Brian Austin Green.

Burgess shared that her father passed away just one month after learning of her pregnancy. She said in the video,

"He passed away only a month later, and some part of me thinks he was holding on to see that I was ok. That I am safe and loved and truly happy. And now it's my turn to be a parent."

In the video's caption, she wrote a heartfelt tribute to her dad, that read,

"I can't watch this without crying. It's the handshake between Bri and my Dad that gets me every time. Can a heart be broken and full at the same time about the same moment? Mine feels that way."

With only three months until her child's arrival, Burgess stated she feels "meant for this."

"3 months to go until I step into the role of Parent. I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm surrounded by people that do. People I love and trust deeply. And, I trust my own instincts and nurturing nature."

Burgess already co-parents Green's children from his previous relationships to Vanessa Marcil and ex-wife Megan Fox. The couple claimed the younger kids are even more excited for the new baby than they are.

Burgess finished her video with another message for her father, where she shared,

"Seeing my Dad in videos I haven't watched since he passed was both beautiful and hard. There aren't words for how grateful I am that we got to share those moments before he left."
