Season 11 Episode 22 - "She's Leaving Home"
Grab your tissues for this one. In this episode, Meredith returns to Grey Sloan Memorial to reveal that McDreamy, the love of her life, has passed away. After the funeral, Meredith runs away from everything she holds dear, bringing her kids with her. As time passes, we witness our doctors celebrating festivities such as Christmas... But nothing's the same without Derek Shepherd.
After delivering a baby girl named Ellis, Meredith finally decides to go back to Seattle to start over as flashbacks of the people she lost give her strength to move forward with her life.
"It's a choice I'm making. To move forward, to move past this. I can do that. All I have to do, is begin."
Season 15 Episode 12 - "Girlfriend in a Coma"
This Christmas episode has a love triangle to steam the holidays: De Luca - Meredith - Link. As we see how everyone is going to celebrate Christmas, Jo tells Meredith she invited Link to the Karev's New Year's Eve party. But Meredith also invites De Luca, creating the perfect love triangle -- although Meredith will incessantly state she's not in one.

Season 9 Episode 7 - "I Was Made For Loving You"

Going back to when McDreamy was alive, this episode features an important event: Meredith tells Derek she's three weeks pregnant, but doesn't want anyone at the hospital to know. She delivers the news with a pink shirt that reads the following:
"World's Best Big Sister."
In the meantime, Callie tries to find solutions to fix Derek's hand after the tragic plane crash, Bailey deeply resents the idea of having a Christmas wedding and April and Jackson break up after a negative pregnancy test.
Season 7 Episode 10 - "Adrift and at Peace"

After suffering from PTSD because of the hospital shooting, Cristina goes fishing with Derek. Meanwhile Teddy tries to make a holiday gift to a patient who doesn't have insurance by suggesting to marrying him. In this episode, Cristina's finally able to be completely in the present moment, holding a fish in her hands, realizing that she can now leave the past behind.
