According to her tweets, Kim danced, rode bikes, swam near whales, kayaked, watched a movie on the beach and so much more.

Where you might ask? A private island of course. The now 40 year-old faced a bit of backlash for hosting the party amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Kim cleared the air with a tweet that read,

"After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time."

In response to criticism of her wealth, the star said,

"I realize that for most people, this is something that is so far out of reach right now, so in moments like these, I am humbly reminded of how privileged my life is. #thisis40"

In total, about 50 guests were flown and quarantined on the island including sisters Khloe and Kourtney, mom Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and Tristan Thompson.

Kanye West later joined the festivities October 23rd after taping for a podcast back home. Kylie Jenner was also notably missing from the night as she was with her daughter Stormi in Houston, TX.

Kim said she was just grateful to be surrounded by friends and family who had helped shape her into the woman she is today.
