Big Sequels: 'Spider-Man: No Way Home,' 'The Matrix Resurrections,' & 'Emily in Paris' | CPTV
With the new year right around the corner, 2021 is wrapping up with some of the most exciting premieres to hit theaters and streaming platforms this year.

No Way Home picks up where Far From Home left off, with Spider-Man's true identity publicly revealed as Peter Parker. Spider-Man looks to his fellow Avenger, Dr. Strange, for help in making people forget who he is.

Zendaya, who stars as Peter's love interest, MJ, shared her big takeaway from the film, alluding to one of the consequences Spider-Man may have caused by teaming up with Dr. Strange.

If there's anything that I've learned from this film and is that you gotta just let it be, you know what I mean, um, certain things can't be undone.

As for Spider-Man himself, Tom Holland, he compared his real-life experience with fame with Peter's:

I haven't had a bad relationship with fame whereas Peter Parker is famous because everyone thinks that he is the most wanted man in the world. So for me, I have a very different relationship with fame than Peter Parker does.
Make sure to check out Zendaya and Tom Holland in Spider-Man: No Way Home, which is in theaters now (and keep the spoilers to yourself!).

On top of No Way Home being one of the biggest releases this holiday season, The Matrix Resurrections is another huge premiere to hit theaters before the new year. Although the fourth installment in the Matrix franchise is keeping its storyline under wraps, so far the film has teased that Thomas Anderson will have to decide whether or not to follow the white rabbit one more time.

It's been almost 20 years since the release of the third installment, and now Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss are about to enter the Matrix as Neo and Trinity. Matrix Resurrections hits theaters and HBO Max on Wednesday, December 22nd.

The highly-anticipated release of the second season of The Witcher is also hitting Netflix before we ring in the New Year. Henry Cavill is returning as Gerait of Rivia, a mutated monster hunter who struggles to determine his identity among a world of people who are just as heinous as the beasts they hunt.

Cavill shared about his role as Gerait and what's in store for the character throughout the second season.

Now he actually can be the protector, he has this child surprise and it's like unlocking the doorway to him being who he truly is on the inside.

Season Two of The Witcher is now available to stream on Netflix.

Another hit Netflix series is also returning to the platform with its second season. Emily in Paris is set to bring back even more drama and romance with Lily Collins returning as our favorite foreigner.

The second season is picking up where the love triangle from Season One left off, with Emily caught between her neighbor and her first real friend in France. You can catch up with Emily and all her French escapades this Wednesday, December 22nd on Netflix.
