While awaiting the release of Jurassic World: Dominion, a brand new animated series based on the franchise entitled Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous is coming to Netflix.
The teaser trailer shows a raptor stalking its territory - a common sight for Jurassic Park fans. It promises danger and thrill as the raptor "attacks" the viewer or the camera at the very end, demanding that you keep watching to see what ensues. Now, a new generation of explorers can get their first glimpse into the wild world of Jurassic Park in a kid-friendly, yet still suspenseful way.
According to the series' official Netflix site, the eight-part cartoon follows:
"Six teens attending an adventure camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar [who] must band together to survive when dinosaurs wreak havoc on the island."
Voicing the curious teens and their correspondents are big names such as Jenna Ortega, Jameela Jamil, Raini Rodriguez, Ryan Potter, and Glen Powell.
The franchise's newest addition comes from executive producers Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow and Frank Marshall in conjunction with Universal Pictures, DreamWorks Animation and Amblin Entertainment.

The Jurassic World official Twitter account shared the exciting news as well as the precarious promotional poster for the series featuring the phrase:
" Discover the other side of the island."
Camp is in session starting September 18th only on Netflix, but be sure to watch out for raptors!
