One of the biggest film franchises of all time has roared back onto the big screen this summer!

Clearly, dinosaurs are not extinct with moviegoers as “Jurassic World Dominion” just crossed the $875-million mark at the box office. The third film in the "Jurassic World" trilogy not only stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, but also, some OG cast members, who returned for a very nostalgic reunion.

Advocate Channel Las Vegas correspondent Rachel Smith sat down with Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern to discuss their epic reunion, which was decades in the making.

"Being in this thing that people are kind of bubbly and seem enthusiastic about is a big kick," Goldblum shared. "I'm crazy about it."

Prior to the film's release, the stars appeared in previous installments, but never together. Goldblum starred in the sequel film to "Jurassic Park" and later made a cameo in "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom." Meanwhile, Dern took the screen in the third movie of the franchise "Jurassic Park III", although, Dern's role was a quick cameo.

At long last, the beloved trio (Goldblum, Dern and OG cast member Sam Neill) has finally come together once again to face the deadly creatures putting humanity's future at stake. Dern revealed that the long-awaited reunion was just as emotional as you'd expect.

"The three of us got into a Jeep together for our first scene together," Dern told Smith. "We looked out through the Jeep and the crew was gathered around, getting ready to shoot, and people started getting tears in their eyes."
