If the list wasn't already big enough for the new "Barbie" movie, it just got a whole lot bigger.
Michael Cera and Issa Rae have just been signed to the Warner Bros' film alongside other new additions such as Hari Nef, Alexandra Shipp, Rhea Perlman, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Sharon Rooney, Scott Evans, Ritu Arya, Ana Cruz Kayne and Jamie Demetriou.
"Once Upon a Time in Hollywood's" Margot Robbie is starring and producing the film. In 2019, she told Variety why she believed the Mattel figure should be brought to life.
"I think it’s a great opportunity to put some positivity out in the world and a chance to be aspirational for younger kids," Robbie said.
It was previously announced that Ryan Gosling will play the iconic boy toy Ken and the supporting cast consists of "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings'" Simu Liu, Emmy-winner and "Saturday Night Live's" Kate McKinnon, "Step Brothers'" Will Ferrell, "Sex Education's" Emma Mackey, and "Ugly Betty's" America Ferrera.
"Barbie" is expected to premiere sometime in 2023.
