Barbie Ferreira plays 'Kat Hernandez' on HBO's hit show Euphoria. There have been many rumors circulating about some feuding between Ferreira and the creator of the show, Sam Levinson. Many fans believe her storyline was cut due to this. Ferreira has finally spoken out about it.

With the new season of Euphoria airing currently, many fans are left confused as to what happened to Ferreira's character's storyline and also her screen time. In season one, Ferreira's character's storyline was one of the most prominent in the series. Her sexual awakening is one of the forefront plotlines in season one and, now, it seems to have been put on the back burner.

When season 2 of Euphoria first premiered, rumors had already been circulating that she had been in an argument with Levinson. It is said that the argument was about her "disappointment with the direction in which her character was going" according to BuzzFeed. In unconfirmed reports, the argument apparently became so heated that Ferreira

"walked off set while shooting which allegedly prompted Levinson to dramatically cut her lines from the script."

Ferreira was also not in attendance at the premiere of the show, which only led to further speculation. Zendaya confirmed in a recent interview with The Cut, that almost the entire original script for season 2 was scrapped by Levinson.

In a recent interview with The Cut, Ferreira said:

"Kat's journey this season is a little more internal and a little mysterious to the audience. She is secretly going through a lot of existential crises."

Ferreira also added:

"She loses her marbles a little bit- just like everyone else in this season. The theme is everyone's gone a little crazy."

Now, this may not have been exactly what fans wanted to hear and may only further the speculations of the feuding. But, the season isn't over yet and there could be plenty of time to give "Kat" more screen time.
