Actress Jameela Jamil, known for her role on NBC'sThe Good Place and as the host of The Misery Index on TBS, can now add Marvel supervillain to her resume.
Yesterday, Varietyconfirmed Jamil's casting in the Disney Plus series She-Hulk as the show's villain Titania.
Based on the comic of the same name, the series will center around lawyer Jennifer Walters, played by Emmy winner Tatiana Maslany, who receives her hulk powers via blood infusion from her cousin Bruce Banner.
Both Mark Ruffalo (Hulk) and Tim Roth (The Abomination) will reprise their roles in the upcoming series. Jessica Gao, a writer of Rick and Morty, will pen the series, and both Kat Coiro and Anu Valia will direct.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige announced She-Hulk at Disney's D23 Expo in August 2019.
She-Hulk is set to begin streaming some time next year on Disney Plus.
