January 26th, 2020, fans of Kobe Bryant were shocked and devastated to hear the news of his heartbreaking death. Two years later and it hurts fans all the same.

Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna were in a tragic helicopter crash that occurred in the city of Calabasas, California.

All nine people on the aircraft died, including Bryant, Gianna, baseball coach John Altobelli, and Altobelli's wife and daughter.

Kobe Bryant was a [retired] professional basketball player who played his entire 20-year career for the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA. He was a shooting guard who, to this day, is the youngest player to ever start a National Basketball Association game.

According to Business Insider, "Bryant was just 18 years and 158 days old when he made his first NBA start against the Dallas Mavericks in January of 1997."

Fans paid tribute to Bryant through social media. Bryan't is survived by his wife Vanessa and daughters Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.
