Jennifer Lopez's new film "The Mother," which was set to be released at some point in 2022, has recently had to pause production as there have been an influx of COVID-19 cases among the production crew.
Lopez is on the production team as well as a cast member, but it has not been released on whether or not she has contracted the virus.
Lopez, 52, has been shooting a lot of scenes for the film, prior to the holiday season, in Canada.
The film is going to be about an assassin who comes out of hiding to protect her daughter she left earlier in life, while also escaping from some very dangerous assailants. The film is an ensemble cast with other stars such as Joseph Fiennes, Gael García Bernal, and Omari Hardwick.
