On Monday, Jennifer Lopez debuted her first song of 2021 titled "Cambia El Paso" with Rauw Alejandro along with more Instagram teases for the long anticipatedmusic video.

The singer shared in an interview on SiriusXM's Pitbull Globalization how Alejandro jumped on the track and in two hours, Lopez knew she had a hit. "This is a moment. This is Summer. This is right now," Lopez said about the song. She also revealed how the meaning behind the song signifies her current state of mind in life, which is moving forward.

"Well, definitely for me, it was about change," The singer shared. "The song is about change and not being afraid to take the step. Like, just take the step, advance, do what you need to do. If something's not feeling right, whatever it is in your life, like, just make that move and dance."

Earlier this year, Lopez broke off her two-year-long engagement to former MLB star Alex Rodriguez and shortly after the split rekindled her love with old-time-flame Ben Affleck. Lopez and Affleck began their high-profile relationship in 2002, became engaged and broke-off the engagement a year later. The singer even named a song after her actor boyfriend on her 2002 album This is Me...Then titled "Dear Ben."

The two have not been spotted together in nearly 20 years, but recently have been photographed together embracing in Universal Studios and their most recent trip to the Hamptons.

Lopez who has not confirmed the rekindling with former fiancé, said in an interview on Monday with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 that she is "super happy."

"And I think once you get to that place then amazing things happen to you that you never imagine in your life happening again. And so that is where I'm at," Lopez shared. "And I love all the love that's coming my way right now and all of the, the good wishes. And I just want everybody to know that it's the best time. It's the best time of my life."

JLo also talked about her friendship with Pitbull in the interview and credits him for reviving her music career after giving birth to her children.

"I mean, we've had so many amazing moments together. Probably one of my biggest songs ever we did, which is 'On The Floor.' That kind of brought me back into the public eye after I had my kids and got married and that was just like a new moment. So, he will always represent kind of the new generation of my music for me."
