Jennifer Lopez will be spearheading various Broadway projects for TV.

Lopez has teamed up with Skydance and Concord to develop original TV series and films based on the catalog of music in Concord's vault, including the works of Rodgers and Hammerstein. The vault includes timeless musicals like The Sound of Music, The King and I, and Cinderella just to name a few.

"Musicals were a part of the tapestry of my childhood. We're so excited to begin our association with Skydance and Concord in reinterpreting some of the most classic musicals and bringing them to life in new ways for a new generation," said Lopez in a statement.

Lopez will serve as an executive producer will also have the opportunity to star in one of the classic musicals as part of the deal, according toThe Hollywood Reporter. The singer's production company Nuyorican which is co-owned by Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina will expand on their previous deal with Concord of turning Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma into a modern-day TV series.

"Skydance aims to create stories that appeal to audiences around the globe, and Jennifer is the perfect partner to reimagine these beloved, classic musicals for a 21st century audience."

Aside for reinventing classical musicals for television, the pop star still has still time to date her old-flame Ben Affleck. Lopez and Affleck were recently seen in Universal City Walk on Sunday with their children. Affleck was joined by his two children Samuel, 9, and Seraphina, 12, while Lopez brought her daughter Emme, 12, who is twins with her brother Max. The couple has recently been spotted in New York, Montana, California, and Florida since their relationship became public in May of this year.
