November has arrived which sadly means spooky season has come to a close. Before we put a cap on Halloween 2021, we have to review some of our favorite celebrity costumes from this year's celebration.

Kicking off our recap, the queens of mystery took things to a whole other level last night, dressing up as the ever-popular Scooby Doo duo. Madelaine Petsch took on the role of Daphne while her partner in crime Camila Mendes took on Velma. Madelaine appropriately captioned her Instagram post 'Jinkies!'

Harry Styles also had a show-stopping Halloween costume this year. The "Watermelon Sugar" singer humorously captioned his Instagram post 'Harryween', posing in his Dorothy costume which he wore during his concert performance in NYC that night.

Taking the cake for the most impressive, and certainly unrecognizable costume this year, the Weeknd dressed as Don Vito Corleone from The Godfather. The modern-day King of Pop took to Instagram to show his head-to-toe look, sharing pictures and a video of him posing (even with a cat) as cinema's most infamous mobster.

Also embracing some crazy special effects makeup, Lizzo dressed as Grogu from The Mandalorian to embrace the pop culture obsession with The Child. All of Lizzo's costumes from the holiday were standouts, but her nod to Baby Yoda was surely the most impressive.

Doja Cat also had quite a few exceptional costumes this Halloween, but most memorable of them all was her Princess Kida from Atlantis outfit, which she wore on her birthday.

Kendall Jenner perfectly modeled her Mars Attack! costume on Instagram, showing off her figure in the same Martian Girl dress seen in the film. Her foot-long blonde wig for the costume was definitely the most astounding feature of the outfit.

Lil Nas X showed off his super spooky costume on Instagram, posing as 'the one who shall not be named'. His Voldemort costume was another one of our favorite special effects makeup looks that looked almost too similar to the actual character.

Megan Thee Stallion as Cruela de Vil was another standout costume that stole the Halloween stage. Megan perfectly captured the entire essence of the character, even decking out her nails in red, white, and Dalmatian print.

The Queen of Pop also had quite the impressive costume and subsequent Instagram post. Getting a completre head-to-toe makeover as Miss Creature from The Black Lagoon, Ari completely elevated the costuming game.

Rounding off our favorite Halloween costumes from 2021, Joe Jonas teamed up with his wife, Sophie Turner, and Olivia De Jonge to recreate the trio from The Lizzie McGuire Movie.
