Gal Gadot's new documentary series, National Geographic Presents: IMPACT with Gal Gadot, features the "Wonder Woman" as she presents six stories of real-life superheroes... women who are creating positive change and impacting lives.

Presented in short form, each episode features women making a real difference in uncertain circumstances and surroundings in their respective corners of the world.

In this #SeeHER Spotlight feature, we hear from one of the six women, Arianna, a 19-year-old college student from San Juan, Puerto Rico. Arianna is part of a team of students that created a water filtration system to provide clean drinking water to the Puerto Rican people who are still dealing with the unhealthy conditions and after effects of Hurricane Maria.

"I think that the motivator for us was that so many people before Maria were struggling, and now after Maria, it's even more serious of an issue."

Also offering her perspective on this powerful series is Executive Producer and Series Director, Vanessa Roth, who had this to say about Gal's spearheading the project...

"Gal's been just wonderful, she's so empathetic and her heart is really in just the most beautiful place where she wants to use her platform to make sure to give voice and face to all these women around the world who are doing amazing things."

The series is available on the National Geographic YouTube channel. Arianna's story will be featured Monday, May 10th. Each episode is being presented digitally and will come to the National Geographic as a full-length feature on June 24th.
