Disney+ has decided to move original series' release dates from Friday to Wednesday due to Loki's amazing launch.
Numbers-wise, Lokihas had the best premiere of Disney Plus' original series so far and the streaming service has already decided that the midweek drop idea is successful.
Loki Changes All Other Disney+ Original Series
The Wednesday release time has significantly impacted the Disney Plus release schedule globally as many series have been pushed back and some have been moved forward to fit into these new times. Starting July 1st all original series will adhere to the Wednesday time slots while movies will remain separate.
The Friday drop day remains intact for original movies, along with the additional premium access fee for users that hope to watch the new films.
