Our Sonia Isabelle spoke to The Real Housewives of Orange County star Emily Simpson about her first-hand experience with the coronavirus. The reality TV personality shared her biggest challenges with the virus after her entire family tested positive this past summer.
While Simpson herself did not experience severe symptoms, her husband Shane had a tougher battle. She shared some of her feelings while she was fearing for her husband's life:
"I just remember going to bed every night thinking, I really pray and hope that we come out of this and that we're a family. I remember saying, I'll never take Shane for granted again... just make him healthy, make him come home."
Fortunately, Simpson said that she is now feeling healthy and her family is recovering well.
In addition to her family, we spoke to the star about how Bravo is keeping the cast of Real Housewives of Orange County safe during production of their upcoming season.
"I have to give props to the producers and production and Bravo for figuring out a way that we could safely film together. The fact that we actually got 14 episodes- good episodes- y'know a lot of drama, a lot of relationships... real life things like dealing with COVID that's really going on right now in society and in humanity... I give props to everyone involved that we ere able to do that. It's a huge accomplishment.
