The couple has been loving their time together in quarantine, realizing that they can be "Happy Anywhere" when together.

This morning, country singer Blake Shelton spoke with Storme Warren on SiriusXM's The Storme Warren Show on The Highway Channel. Shelton talks about releasing a new single with his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, titled Happy Anywhere, and much more.

'Happy Anywhere' (Including Being Stuck at Home)

While Shelton has heard many stories about families and couples getting on each other's nerves during the COVID-19 lockdown, Shelton says that he and Stefani have had a positive experience. He talks about their satisfaction of being home for a change:

"She and I have experienced the opposite, you know, and we've been having a blast. And I think it's because, we've literally, since our early, early twenties, both of us, kind of been, you know chasing our careers around. And obviously, none of us like these circumstances, but I'd be lying if I said that I'm not having a blast being stuck at home for this long because I've just never gotten to do it before you know, since I've owned a home, I've never been able to be there more than two weeks max at a time. So, this has been an eye opener. I told my manager, I said 'man you might have a hard time getting me to go back on the road again actually'."

The couple's quarantine together has made them realize that they really can be "Happy Anywhere." After the songs release, it became Shelton's 27th number one of his career.

Postponing 'The Voice' and a double wedding?

Shelton has been able to continue making music during quarantine, but some aspects of his life have to come to a pause. After being a coach on The Voice for 16 seasons, the shows production had to come to a halt due to the pandemic. Shelton tells Warren that he's sick of having to say "I don't know" about when things will resume. Not only The Voice has paused, but Shelton and Gwen's wedding plans have also been on pause. Shelton jokes about the rumors of a $10 million wedding and says:

"Well you know, it's funny that you brought this up 'cause Gwen just showed me that cover this morning, she saw it on her phone and she was reading it to me and she misread, she said, 'We're having ten million friends and family.' and I said, 'Oh my-what the hell, how many friends do you have? How the hell-We're gonna need more than a double wedding to get that many people in there.'"

While Blake Shelton's work on The Voice and the wedding planning have come to a temporary stop, he was luckily still able to put out a song to express his enjoyment in his relationship with Gwen Stefani.
