With the recent news of Christopher Nolan's Tenet being delayed again, AMC has announced a reopening in August.
Even with coronavirus cases spiking, AMC plans to reopen in August. The plan involves the latest Disney blockbuster, Mulan, which is still scheduled to debut in August. While this is the plan, a release for Mulan is not looking likely. In a statement, the company stated:
"This new timing reflects currently expected release dates for much anticipated blockbusters like Warner Bros.' 'Tenet' and Disney's 'Mulan,' as well as release dates for several other new movies,"
AMC Safe And Clean
With this news, AMC still plans to re-open with "AMC Safe And Clean" phased plan that promises to ensure the health of patrons. You can read more about the plan, here.
Mulan is set to release on August 21st, it is currently unclear if the movie will release or not.
