Just in time for its season three premiere, Netflix has just announced that its hit thriller-drama, You, will be returning for a fourth season.

Netflix debuted their big announcement on October 13, just two days before the highly-anticipated release of Season 3. Season 4 was teased on Netflix's Instagram and Twitter accounts for You, intriguing fans with a caption reading, 'YOU Season 4 is in the [body] bag'.

You originally made headlines after going viral back in September of 2018, and since then, fans can't seem to get enough of Joe Goldberg despite his murderous tendencies. The series is based off of Caroline Kepnes's novels, "You", "Hidden Bodies", and "You Love Me", which Season 3 is based on. The books and the ensuing Netflix series follows Joe as he literally does anything for the women he adorns, as he professes in the Season 4 teaser.

Season 3 of You will show the return of Joe, played by Penn Badgley, and his equally passionate wife, Love, played by Victoria Pedretti. This season will show the two with their newborn baby after moving to Northern California, now surrounded by superficial mommy bloggers, stuck-up tech executives, and intimidating biohackers. Although Joe is settling into his new role as a dad, his main concerns now revolve around Love's deadly capabilities.

Though nothing has been hinted at pertaining to the contents of Season 4, fans can certainly expect Season 3 to bleed into what's to come. Especially with Kepnes's series-ending after the third book, Season 4 is just as mysterious as Joe Goldberg himself.

Season 4 is expected to premiere in 2022.
