The Young and the Restless's 12,000th episode airs today, Tuesday, December 1st.
Two of the show's stars, Joshua Morrow and Eileen Davidson, joined us to talk about the show's newest milestone.
Morrow shared with our Jaymes Vaughan:
You just kind of can't wrap your mind around that something could be this successful for this long. It's an incredible honor.
Eileen added:
There's a certain amount of pride . . . I never thought . . . I'd be here for its 12,000th episode. I really can't even fathom it."
The Young and The Restless first aired on March 26, 1973 and is now in its 48th season. Over the course of its run, this soap opera follows different families of Genoa City's upper class.
