Our very own, Sonia Isabelle, talked with Soap Opera Digest Editorial Director Stephanie Sloane for the latest scoop on everything daytime!
First up, actress Judith Chapman is making a return to The Young and the Restless after a two year hiatus. According to Sloan, Chapman was actually shocked to receive the call and had to keep the news tight-lipped.
Judith Chapman returned to the set in sort of a homecoming and was so happy to see everyone despite some crazy changes in production due to COVID-19. The studios are operating under strict social distancing guidelines and require cast to be tested regularly.
She was especially excited to reconnect with her TV sons:
Also on "Y&R", Joshua Morrow and Michelle Stafford told Sloan their new relationship on the show will be an interesting one. Long time fans of the show could likely prefer Nick and Sharon, but Nick and Phyllis's chemistry is already undeniable. The characters are slated for some pretty hot scenes in upcoming episodes.
Both told Sloan there's a lot more to come for the duo!
