Wheel Of Fortune and Jeopardy! will be heading back to the studio and are set to begin filming next week. However, the layout of the studios may look a little different than normal.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, production of game shows had been put to a halt. Now with safety guidelines put in place, two game shows are ready to return. As like many other things in the world, the shows are going to be implementing adjustments in order to comply with the CDC recommendations.
According to Deadline, Wheel Of Fortune will be redesigned for contestants to properly social distance while spinning the wheel. As for Jeopardy!, the stage has been altered to allow more space for contestants by configuring their podiums. The contestants will also be socially distant from host Alex Trebek.
As for behind the scenes for both shows, safety measures will be put into place to ensure the safety of staff and crew members. Only essential personnel will be allowed to attend tapings, protective equipment such as masks and disinfectants will be provided for everyone, and testing is required for each staff member.
Even though Wheel Of Fortune and Jeopardy! will look abnormal this year, fans can still expect the same quality shows they have known and loved for years, every weeknight on ABC.
