In a Youtube video, Alex Trebek gave Jeopardy fans an update on his health and the long running quiz show Jeopardy.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Jeopardy! was not able to record new episodes for this summer. The show typically has new episodes daily for nearly the entire year. Despite soon running out of new episodes, Jeopardy! will begin to air vintage episodes. In the video Trebek shared:
"We're going to open the Jeopardy vaults and take another look at some of our favorite episodes, including the very first Jeopardy show I ever hosted."
A Health Update
Jeopardy! fans should also be happy to learn that Trebek is doing well in his treatment of stage four pancreatic cancer. The TV host was diagnosed back in October. He told fans:
"I'm doing well. I've been continuing my treatment and it is paying off, though it does fatigue me a great deal. My numbers are good"
