From action movies to dramas, comedies, and everything in between, Tom Cruise has done it all in Hollywood. Now, in partnership with the world's top space organizations, Cruise is heading to outer space for a new project.
According to Deadline.com, not only is the untitled project real, but NASA and Elon Musk's SpaceX will collaborate with Cruise on shooting the film entirely from outer space. Doug Liman has been tapped to direct the daring project, and Deadline is reporting that Cruise and Liman conceptualized the project on their own. Cruise and Liman are no strangers to each other, as they worked together on Edge of Tomorrow.
This news comes at an exciting time for space and movies fans alike. With the successful SpaceX launch this weekend, there is a new found excitement about American space exploration and telling stories about the last frontier.
