Jennifer Garner is making her return to television! Best known for her role as Sydney Bristow in the hit show Alias, from 2001-2006, Garner is finally hitting the small screen once again.

Party Down was a 2009-2010 sitcom that lasted for two seasons on Starz. The show follows a group of caterers in Los Angeles who are trying to make it to Hollywood.

The original cast consisted of stars such as Adam Scott, Ken Marino, Ryan Hansen, and Jane Lynch. It was created and written by John Enbom, Rob Thomas, Dan Etheridge, and Paul Rudd.

Garner is set to be playing a character named Evie, who is "a successful producer of studio franchise movies, who, in the wake of a breakup, is reconsidering her life choices," according to E! News.

Her character Evie is going to be dating actor Adam Scott's character Henry Pollard. He was a character from the original show who will be making a return!

Also joining the cast is Zoë Chao, Tyrel Jackson Williams, and James Marsden.

Original stars Scott, Jane Lynch, Ken Marino, Martin Starr, Ryan Hansen and Megan Mullally are all returning, but Lizzy Caplan cannot return as she is already committed to filming another TV show.

There has been no news on when the series is set to be released.
