Timothée Chalamet Plays a Young Cannibal in New Bones and All Teaser

MGM

Timothée Chalamet and Luca Guadagnino are reuniting without Armie Hammer, but there’s a twist!

After breaking out as an actor for his portrayal of Elio in 2017's Call Me by Your Name (directed by Guadagnino), Chalamet has become a true Hollywood A-lister. He is now reuniting with the Call Me by Your Name director for a brand-new movie, Bones and All, where Chalamet will play a young and attractive cannibal luring women into his universe.

Various scenes between the characters of Lee (played by Chalamet) and Maren (played by Taylor Russell) are featured in a newly-released teaser for Bones and All.

“You don’t think I’m a bad person?” Lee asks.

“All I think is that I love you,” Maren responds.

You can watch the full teaser for Bones and All below.

The timing of this trailer – and even this movie – is fascinating given the recent accusations against Hammer for being an alleged cannibal and harassing several women. Hammer played Oliver, Chalamet’s love interest in Call Me by Your Name, and was also directed by Guadagnino in the film. As such, the timing is pretty wild for a cinematic reunion between Chalamet and Guadagnino about a subject matter that Hammer is being accused of.

This week, Discovery+ also dropped the teaser for a new docuseries called House of Hammer, which will explore all of the accusations that have been brought forth against Hammer. The alleged victims will be featured in the series where they will talk in detail about what they’ve experienced with the actor.

It should be noted that Bones and All has obviously nothing to do with the accusations against Hammer and this whole thing is a mere coincidence. But the fact that Bones and All and House of Hammer are both coming out within just a few months of difference is very chaotic timing nonetheless.

House of Hammer premieres September 2 on Discovery+, whereas Bones and All is expected to premiere November 2022 in theaters.
